Petra Accounting was founded and is headed up by Jodie Canning.
The company was formed in 2010 after Jodie couldn’t bear the rat race of London anymore. After her son was born it was the final push she needed to work for herself, to make sure she could achieve the home work balance lifestyle.
As a new business owner Jodie understands the struggles, concerns, joys and pressures of starting a business and has extensive knowledge from setting up business bank accounts to completing budgets and cashflow forecasts. We are always looking for new systems and idea’s to make our clients life’s easier. Technology changes so fast and we want to take full advantage of the time and money savings this can create.
Shanen Smith Joined the company in 2013 as an Apprentice, and is currently in the final stages of completing her Level 4 AAT. Shanen has continued to mature with the company and works hard to succeed in her qualification and her working life. Shanen not only brings youth and style to the company but also a loyalty to her clients that can only be commended.
Amy Martin joined the company in February 2016 after working with Jodie in a previous employment. Amy has many years of experience within the payroll and accounting sector and brings both knowledge and enthusiasm to her role. She is confident in juggling a number of payrolls and thrives on ensuring accuracy and efficiency within her work.
